Still Fairing
I am still fairing. Everything in the garage now has a layer of wood dust on it. I am using a small hand plane, a power plane and a belt sander. I also rigged up a long board covered with sand paper but after a while the sandpaper broke. This is a long and hard process. I now wish I had made the batten notches deeper as I need to remove a LOT of material from these. The forward section of the sheer and chine in a head scratcher too. I would post some photos but a) my camera is playing up and b) it would just show a cloud of brown dust.
